So, Wagon18, are those drums acquirable?
I'm sorry, I'm just trying to understand. I totally appreciate your time and help!!
Are the '72 onward still wide five? (which is the wheels I have on it.)

Yes, all things have 5 lug wheels with LK 5 x 205 mm.
I´m thinking about one used drum, just for testing at first.
Find someone with a IRS thing, have a look, evtl. take one rear wheel off and do some measuring.
If it´s not enough, the shorter torsion bars and spring plates can do the rest.
